Gender pay gap fought by the U.K. government

Prime Minister David Cameron to force companies to disclose gender pay gaps.

The U.K. has the 6th-highest pay gap between men and women in the European Union. The government has decided to improve gender equality at the workplace, which is why the Prime Minister, David Cameron, will announce an ambition to end the gender pay gap within a generation. The government is going to bring forward rules to force large companies to disclose whether they are paying men more than women from next year on.
