Progress in figures concerning women on boards of listed companies

The European Commission has released new figures regarding the representation of women on the boards of listed companies. Generally, there is a positive trend even if in some countries numbers declined even more.

According to the new statistics, women represent 20.2% of board members of large listed companies in the EU – in increase of 8.3 points compared to 2010. While in most member states the share of women increased, in some Central and Eastern European countries, this share declined.
