Creation of a Refugee Nation to solve the global refugee crisis?

A Silicon Valley mogul wants to solve the global refugee crisis by creating a new land for refugees to live in

Accross the globe, chaos and violence has left nearly 60 million people displaced, largely living in difficult conditions in poor nations. These people have nowhere to go and are willing to risk their lives in the hope of reaching a better life in another country. Jason Buzi, a Silicon Valley real estate, came out with a utopian solution for these people: creating a new nation for them where they will be able to be safe and allowed to live and work like everybody else.

Besides the complexity of the creation of a new nation, Buzi's initiative represents the global frustration that people feel towards the way the world deals with refugees today. The current system of refugee managment is wobbly. Countries like Lebanon, Italy, or Jordan have become overburdened, refugees camps often languish, cut off from society and opportunity, NGOs and international bodies are financially beholden to the current system even if it is failing and the situation getting worse.
