The European Network Against Racism (ENAR) has published a toolkit which explores innovative ways for employers to manage religious diversity in the workplace. It is a much needed resource for all employers wishing to fully engage in creating an equal, dignified and diverse workplace by respecting religious diversity within their workforce.

Religious diversity in the workplace is an increasingly topical issue and an ongoing challenge for European employers and employees. Reconciling a secular vision of the workplace and respect of diversity and personal religious choices of an employee is no easy task.

The toolkit aims to support employers to identify the main challenges and barriers of accommodating religious minorities in European workplaces and how to practically respond to those challenges, also providing good practices by employers. It includes a checklist for employers by which they can assess their performance on religious diversity and improve the inclusion of religious minorities in the workplace.
